BitPay is building blockchain payment technology that is transforming how businesses and people send, receive, and store money. We’re growing fast and are seeking a Front End Developer with extensive experience developing production-ready Javascript applications. As a member of our development team, you will collaborate with talented developers, as well as design and product teams who have a passion for cryptocurrency and the future of payments. 

BitPay development team members:

  • Deliver quality code that is tested, secure, and performant on a global scale
  • Value openness, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Extend and maintain our platform as we grow and add features
  • Have fun while working alongside highly skilled developers

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of development experience 
  • Experience with frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue, or Angular (we love polyglots)
  • Extensive experience in Javascript/HTML/CSS
  • Familiar with current trends and best practices including UI/UX design, performance, security and usability
  • A strong desire to continuously learn
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 

Nice to haves: 

  • Cryptocurrency development experience a plus
  • Strong portfolio with open-source project contributions preferred
  • Native development experience with frameworks such as Ionic or React Native
  • Understanding of Redux based architecture
